If you have an interest in working with School aged Children between the ages of 5 and 12 and enjoy engaging with groups of children in sports, recreation and or creative activities OOSH maybe the place for you.
We are often looking for casual educators to engage with the children in our Before School, After School and Vacation Care programs. The work can be very rewarding, and you will get to work with a dedicated team who have similar interests.
We consider employment for people over the age of 17 years due to the high responsibility of looking after children and are currently looking for new casuals.
To be considered for a casual position at Community OOSH Services there are two important documents you must have before we can consider you for a position. For people under 18, you only need Item 2 listed below. These are mandatory items that our Regulatory Authority require for anybody who works in Early Childhood or an OOSH environment.
Item 1: Current employee level Working with Children Check (Only people over 18 need this). See link below regarding to obtaining a Working with Children Check.

Item 2: National Child Safety Training
Everybody working or volunteering in an early childhood education and care (ECEC) service regulated under the National Quality Framework (NQF) must complete national child safety training. This is a free course in which you will obtain a Certificate of Completion that we need a copy of. Details on this small course is available on the link below.
