It is essential parents realise that the hours are strict and children must be registered after the advertised times. We cannot accept responsibility for children who are dropped off earlier and collected later than these advertised times. A late collection fee is charged for collection after 6:00pm. This fee is currently $20.00 for the first 15 minute or part thereof. After this time the fee is $20.00 per 15 minutes until the child is collected.

Notice period required for existing bookings

The minimum notice required where the session will not be charged for our services is shown below and cancellation requests are to be completed via the Xplor Home APP.

After School Care     Up to 48 hours notice from the session start time

Before School Care  Up to 24 hours notice from the session start time

Vacation Care            Two weeks notice required

 All bookings (including sick days) not cancelled by the times shown above will be charged as an absent day.

All cancellation requests are to be done by the parent through the Xplor Home App.

Depending on the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and activity hours a parent is entitled too, the out of pocket costs to parents can range from a few dollars to the full rate shown below. To find out more about the Child Care Subsidy please visit at  https://www.education.gov.au/ChildCarePackage

The standard full fees are $79 a day (Session) for an In Centre Vacation care day. Excursions are an additional cost and vary depending on the excursion. The excursion prices will be shown on each Vacation care program throughout the year.

Before School care is $22 a session and After School Care is $37 a session.

The cost of the service is directly linked to the Federal Government Child Care Subsidy.

From 2 July 2018 Families are able to apply for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to help with the cost of Child Care Fees.

Our service is approved to offer Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to eligible families and this benefit is paid to the service where the CCS comes off the cost of care. Parents and carers need to have a valid MyGov account and their CRN numbers if they are wanting to claim the CCS. More information can be obtained from the government website www.education.gov.au/ChildCare or on 136 150.

After the enrolment has been setup by the service the parent will need to accept the enrolment within their MyGov account before the Child Care Subsidy is provided to the service.  (See the enrolment process under “New Enrolments”)

Fee payment

• All customers are required to setup Direct Debit as part of the enrolment process
• The out of pocket cost of care along with any additional fees will be charged weekly in arrears.
• To streamline payments and ensure timely processing, Community OOSH Services utilises a weekly direct debit facility through Debit Success for all applicable fees.
• Payments will be debited from your account on Thursday each week for the total amount of the previous weeks care less any CCS you have received.
• Any changes to the payment schedule will be communicated to you with prior notice.
• If there are insufficient funds in your account to cover a scheduled payment, there will be an additional fee incurred from Debit Success due to failed transaction which will be your responsibility.

A Child Care Subsidy (CCS) enrolment automatically ceases when a child hasn’t attended child care for 14 consecutive weeks. This is often referred to as the “14-week rule”. If a child returns to care after this period, a new enrolment notice will need to be submitted and you must let us know you want the enrolment resubmitted.

When a child is absent on the first or last day of their enrolment, the CCS is not be applicable for those initial or final absence days. Full fees are typically charged for these days if the account goes ceased (14 weeks of no bookings)

Hat, sunscreen, sun/rash shirts (covered shoulders), appropriate footwear, plenty to eat and drink (a refillable water bottle).

In Winter warm clothes and socks and in Summer swimmers, swim aids (if required) towel and a plastic bag. Please label all clothes

Phones,  I-pods, tablets and digital communication devices are prohibited.

A free bus service using our buses and vans are available for the families using the Before and After school care & during Vacation Care. Parents/guardians are required to collect children at the end of the care session for After School Care and are required to drop off their children to our service for Before School Care.Parent/guardians are responsible for transport to and from vacation care and pupil free day programs.

COFFS HAROUR (PCYC) : Coffs PS, Steiner School, Tyalla PS, Narranga, Christian Community School (Coffs Harbour Campus)

We also pick up for After School Care children travelling  from Karangi PS, where they need to catch the school bus to the West High Street stop near the Butcher.

KORORA : Kororo PS

WOOLGOOLGA : Corrindi, Mullaway, St Francis Xavier, Woolgoolga PS, Sandy Beach PS

GRAFTON : Grafton Primary, Grafton Infants, South Grafton Infants, South Grafton Primary, St Mary’s and CVAS (we are not allowed to take pre-kinder children)
