Megan Burkitt
Director
Megan’s journey with Community OOSH Services comes full circle. Born and raised in Coffs Harbour, Megan attended OOSH herself as a child during Vacation Care Today, she has the privilege of helping shape the same organisation that played a small part in her own childhood.
A qualified primary school teacher, Megan spent five years teaching in public schools before joining Community OOSH Services. Over the years, she has worked her way through multiple roles within the organisation, including Educator, Coordinator and now Director, giving her a deep understanding of every aspect of the service.
As a mother of two young children, Megan understands firsthand the trust families place in educators and the importance of creating environments where children feel safe, supported and excited to attend.
Megan is passionate about helping children build confidence, develop meaningful friendships and create positive childhood memories. Her combination of teaching experience, leadership within OOSH and strong local community connections helps ensure Community OOSH Services continues to provide engaging experiences that allow children to learn, grow and simply be kids.
