News Update from Korora OOSH
Term 4 is a very busy time – lots of things to celebrate, investigate and great fun to be had in the lead up to our Christmas Holidays.
……speaking of fun TUESDAYS AT THE POOL. Each Tuesday we go on excursion to Korora Squash and Swim for an afternoon of pool play, squash, ball games and ping pong.
This term also sees us investigating all things buggy and beastly. We will be doing activities based on the theme Mini Beast and Bugs…. So far we have had a bug hunt using magnifiying glasses, made bug habitats and found an endangered butterfly we are fundraising for.
Our new garden beds are blooming, we have aloe vera, nastursiums, cherry tomatoes, shallots and mixed lettuce up and growing. The kids are doing a great job of growing seeds in our hothouse and then watering them as seedlings before they go in our garden beds.
