In the past 6 months, we have seen unprecedented fuel increases and now with the latest 4.6% CPI increases to all childcare wages we are having to increase both the After School Care and Before School care rates. We held off increasing both these rates for as long as possible but unfortunately, we are unable to delay these increases any longer.
The price increases will be effective from Monday 8 August 2022 and are shown below.
The slightly good news for many families is that most of the increase will be covered by the CCS. In the chart below we have provided the increase cost per session and the new rate along with an example of the additional out of pocket cost to people who would be on 85% CCS.
