COMMUNITY OOSH SERVICE IS OPEN!

At Community OOSH Services, the safety and wellbeing of our families and team members is, and always has been, our utmost priority. We are committed to maintaining that status.

We are also committed to maintaining an element of “normality” and continuance in the day to day functioning of your child’s world so that there is something left on the “other side” for both them and yourselves, when this adverse situation has abated.

Government Update:

The Prime Minister and Chief Medical Officer have provided information regarding Australia’s response to COVID-19 which includes the suspension of static, seated events of more than 100 people for a sustained period of time.

This advisory does not apply to Community OOSH Services as we offer predominantly an outdoor experience, which is not static, and at this stage the government requires our services to stay open in order to maintain functionality for all concerned.

There have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at our venue or in our city. If or when such a situation occurs it will be dealt with according to the appropriate protocols.

Family Safety & Our Protection Measures

We will continue to operate with additional stringent hygiene and safety measures in-place. We have and will continue to undertake rigorous hygiene standards, cleaning procedures and health and safety standards including:

• Reinforced vigilance in hand washing throughout our services
• On-site first aid facilities with qualified first aiders always on duty
• Displaying the latest Safety Alerts for our families to keep up to date
• Close working relationships with emergency services and government Departments

In addition to the above, to further strengthen our rigorous hygiene standards, we are putting plans in place to:

• Conduct additional cleaning of equipment and surfaces
• Provide updated additional hygiene signage in our centres

We will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and will provide further updates via this page and social media when available.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU KEEP UP TO DATE WITH EMAILS WE SEND YOU AS THERE WILL BE PROGRAM CHANGES BEYOND OUR CONTROL

NB It is also very important that you continue to book our services as usual, however, in light of the circumstances, THERE WILL BE NO FEES CHARGED FOR CANCELLATIONS during this time. However, in the interest of safety and care of your child, bookings that are to be cancelled will need to be notified to our office prior to the session starting.
