Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have been invited to lend my VERY LIMITED dancing abilities to help a VERY GOOD CAUSE at the annual Cancer Council of NSW gala fundraiser…
“STARS OF COFFS DANCE FOR CANCER!”
Accepting wasn’t a hard decision to make as during the last 12 months, I have had two immediate family members diagnosed and fighting their own personal battles with this insidious disease. Unfortunately, we all don’t have to look very far to find friends, family and associates in the same boat!
SO…………. to help raise funds for this incredibly worthwhile cause, which touches the heart of all our lives past, present and future, I’ve jumped into the water with both feet! (bare as they may be!) I am, under the thinly veiled excuse of having fun, attempting to encourage as many people as possible to throw lots of money at me, so that I can redirect it to the right place!!!!!
I’m hosting a fundraiser and am encouraging a lot of local businesses and community organisations and friends to jump in and have some fun whilst supporting a good cause! (see attached Barefoot Bowls invite)
So block out your calendar on the afternoon of Friday Sept 9th, grab some friends (or be a nice boss and bring the staff) and come and have some fun!
If you can’t make it, please consider helping to support the cause in any way you can. i.e. pocket money, loose change, crispy bank notes, tax deductable business donations or some of the $half million we all have buried in the bottom of the garden! Any support will be greatly appreciated!
